Head of Enterprise and Strategic Partnerships Brian Yarnell is a seasoned executive with experience successfully founding, scaling, and exiting multiple healthtech startups. He has over 20 years of experience in managing high-performance teams, executing strategic plans, driving growth, and delivering substantial value to stakeholders.
Brian founded and led Bluestream Health, a telehealth and virtual care Platform as a Service (PaaS) company acquired by eVisit in 2023. He secured commercial engagements at leading health systems, leading Bluestream from initial idea to a cashflow-positive company with 20+ employees, and finally to acquisition by a market-leader with backing from Goldman Sachs.
Previously, as founder and CEO of Starling Health (acquired by Hill-Rom) he secured $3mm in non-dilutive funding and closed deals with top-tier institutions.
Brian’s ability to distill long-term vision into actionable strategies has led to notable achievements, including launching game-changing initiatives like the NYC Health + Hospitals’ ExpressCare Platform, NY State’s Covid-19 test-to-treat program, MedStar Health’s Acute Care Coordination Center (MAC3), and Cook County Health’s virtual public health offerings.
With a commitment to driving innovation and delivering results, Brian has made significant contributions to forward-thinking organizations. He has authored multiple patents in healthcare and other verticals. Brian also contributes to various boards and volunteer initiatives, including the VNAHG Connected Health Institute Advisory Board, N50 Project, the Zahn Center for Innovation, Transform Vitas, and The Azadi Project.
